Park & Ride the Shuttle
Park at The Edge Church, 1005 S 10th St, and hop a golf cart shuttle to McLain Rogers Park. Your evening on the Mother Road starts the moment you climb aboard.
5:00–7:00 PM: Chuckwagon Dinner
Head to the baseball field next to McLain Rogers Park for a true cowboy supper: three meats, two sides, and a drink for $25 a plate (kids 12 and under, $15), served chuckwagon-style as the sun starts to sink over the Mother Road.
After Dinner: Stroll to the Amphitheater
The park's historic amphitheater is just steps away. Find your spot, spread a blanket or set up your stadium seat, and settle in as the sky turns gold.
7:30 PM: The Curtain Rises on Oklahoma!
Featuring audience favorites like “O What a Beautiful Morning” and “The Surrey with the Fringe on Top”, this classic Rodgers & Hammerstein musical is a charming love letter to our state, and there is no better way to experience it than performed live under the Oklahoma stars!

Oklahoma! Under the Stars
Some shows belong in a theater. This one belongs outside under the stars, in the state that inspired it.
As Route 66 celebrates its 100th anniversary, Southwest Playhouse, in partnership with the City of Clinton and the Clinton Chamber of Commerce, brings Rodgers & Hammerstein's Oklahoma! to the historic McLain Rogers amphitheater for a once-in-a-generation outdoor musical production. It's one of the signature events of Clinton's Centennial celebration, and a night audiences will be talking about for decades.
Built by the WPA in the 1930s and lovingly preserved, the amphitheater sits right on the Mother Road. When the cast sings about corn as high as an elephant's eye, you'll smell the prairie air for yourself.
Nine performances only: September 18, 19, 20 • September 25, 26, 27 • October 2, 3, 4, with curtain at 7:30 PM. Tickets are $25.00 plus tax and fees, and dinner is served before every performance. Tickets are on sale now.

Know Before You Go
Seating
Blankets and stadium seats are permitted throughout the amphitheater. Single-person lawn chairs are permitted in the back two-thirds of the amphitheater.
Weather and Cancellations
This is an outdoor evening from the first plate to the final bow. Southwest Playhouse and the Clinton Chamber of Commerce will make every reasonable effort to present each performance and serve each dinner. In inclement weather, either may be delayed, interrupted, or paused while conditions are monitored. Decisions about delays, interruptions, and cancellations are made by theatre and dinner management based on weather and safety conditions.
Weather exchange policy: if a performance is canceled, your ticket will be honored at another Southwest Playhouse performance of Oklahoma!, subject to availability. The same exchange policy applies to canceled chuckwagon dinners.
Notices of delays or cancellations will be announced onsite and posted on Southwest Playhouse and Clinton Chamber of Commerce social media channels.
Prohibited items
The following items are not permitted inside the amphitheater:
• Weapons of any kind
• Alcoholic beverages
• Outside food or beverages (water bottles are permitted)
• Coolers
• Pets or other animals (service animals as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act are permitted)
• Smoking or vaping of any kind, including cigarettes, e-cigarettes, marijuana, and similar products
• Beach umbrellas, sunshades, or other devices that obstruct viewing are not allowed.

Event parking is at The Edge Church, 1005 S 10th St, Clinton, OK 73601. Golf cart shuttles will carry guests from the parking lot to McLain Rogers Park and back, part of the fun, and no long walk in your boots.
Arrive early. Parking at The Edge is first-come, first-served, and the lot may fill up before showtime, especially on Friday and Saturday nights. We recommend arriving by 5:00 PM if you're joining us for dinner, or by 6:30 PM if you're coming for the show only. Additional parking is available in the vicinity if The Edge is full, signage and volunteers will direct you.
